I am a little slow in catching up with blogging, but I don’t want to miss out on showing these lovely photos of Michelle. She is another Senior from Sunnyside High School, with a fantastic smile! Below are some favorites. I’m curious, dear readers, which is THE favorite?

It was great to work with you Michelle, best of luck with your Senior Year - Neil
Cristal attends Sunnyside High School and drove up to Yakima on a beautiful Spring day for her Senior portraits. We found some cherry blossoms in the background to add a bit of a tropical feel. I did a little photoshop work to create an interesting graphic image with the black and white as well some soft images. Below are some of her favorites.

Thanks for the feedback Cristal and best wishes with your Senior Year. – Neil
I met up with Marisol at the Yakima Arboretum for her Senior Photos. We found a day that the sun came out and not too much wind. The pink cherry blossoms make a nice backdrop – as does the yellow and black Buick.

Marisol, my wife loves your fantastic red shoes. Good luck with your Senior Year! – Neil
Here it is October again and time for fall colors and more Senior Pictures. Yesterday, Alexa and her sister met with me out at the Ahtanum Mission to take advantage of the warm fall light. While these are uploading to her website, here are a few previews.
Good luck for your Senior Year Alexa! – Neil
Sarah and her mother invited us out to their backyard for Sarah’s Senior photos last week. Their backyard has a knock out view of the hills around Naches. Sarah included her dogs, her sister, and some friends in her photos, although she will have to see the rest of her photos on Pictage to see those.
I hope you enjoy your photos and your Senior Year - Neil
It is that time of year again, the weather is beginning to be crisp, the birds are gathering to fly South, and Seniors are having their photos taken. I went out to the Ahtanum Mission for these wonderful photos of Samantha, better known as Sam. Below are several of my favorites.
I wish Samantha a great Senior year. -Neil
About a week ago, I photographed Whitney at the Arboretum. We wanted to catch the last of the autumn color but, sadly, the day we had chosen turned out to be pretty windy. She was willing to try and work with the wind, so we went ahead with the session. It turns out the soft light and the wind worked pretty well in the images below.
The last image is desaturated to give it a different look. I’m glad Whitney was willing to come out in less than perfect weather as I am really pleased with the images. She was fun to work with. – Neil
Last weekend we enjoyed some beautiful sunny days. I went out to St Joseph’s Mission at Ahtanum with the White’s to photograph Chantel and Cassandra’s Senior photos. There was an abundance of fall colors for as well as interesting fences and structures that served as background. The Mission is an historic park preserving an early Catholic Mission and it’sgrounds, serving as a lovely background for these two twin sisters from Naches.
I was hoping to capture the differences in their unique personalities. Several of the images are below:
It was certainly a fun day. Thanks and good luck Cassandra and Chantel with your Senior year! – Neil
Like I wrote earlier, October is my favorite month. The foliage is drenched in color, creating vivid natural backgrounds for portraits. When I met with Brenton, he already had his red Jeep parked under this beautiful red maple. He really stands out against all this red.
The yellow foliage and the weathered wood creates a more subdued feeling.
It was a pleasure to work with Brenton and I wish him a great Senior Year.
