Collins’ Anniversary Party

Posted in Family Portrait Session on October 1, 2009 by neilbartowphotography

Connie and Morgan have been married 50 years and raised a wonderful family. We know this because their children got together and threw them an anniversary party. Everyone dressed up for “forever pictures” to commemorate the event, relaxed a little at Leslie’s house and then went out to dinner. We were honored to record the celebration and spend some time with this delightful family. Their photos are a mix of formal group photos and informal candids of just being together:

Tatro Family

Posted in Family Portrait Session on August 19, 2009 by neilbartowphotography

Earlier this summer the Tatro family took a break from their reunion for a photo session at Randall Park. What a great group. Four generations of Tatros all in one picture.  It turns out that the Matriarch of the family, Maxine Tatro is well known for her fabulous wedding cakes, as well as other celebrations.  We even have a picture of one her creations from Kasandra and Erick’s wedding.

After getting the large group together with everyone smiling and eyes open, we shot some smaller groups, such as the siblings below, and some informal shots of family members relaxing together at the park.  Families so seldom are able to get everyone together, with geographic distances and crazy work schedules.  Coming from a large family myself, I know that it is easy to lose touch. It’s great to see this family all in one place.

May Family Photo Shoot

Posted in Family Portrait Session on May 22, 2008 by neilbartowphotography

Last weekend my wife and I got together at the park with Bill and Michele to shoot some family photos.  I photographed their son, Jason last year for his Senior photos. It was nice to get back together with Jason, who will be leaving soon to serve in the Marines. They are a great family, which makes this work enjoyable.

Buck is one of the best behaved dogs I’ve met and he seems to know what he’s doing in front of the camera.

Thanks for a great time.  Good Luck and thanks for serving our country  Jason -Neil

March of Dimes Silent Auction

Posted in Community, Family Portrait Session on March 24, 2008 by neilbartowphotography

Please join us at the March of Dimes Silent Auction.  It will be held March 28, 2008 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Classrooms A & B from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. One of the auction items will be a portrait session including a 18″ x 24″ gallery wrapped canvas print.  This is an opportunity to support a wonderful charity as well as have a beautiful portrait created of you and your family.

Premature birth touches half a million babies and their families every year. Babies born too soon are more likely to die, or have lifelong disabilities.  Every baby deserves someone in their corner. Your generous donation will go a long way towards helping the March of Dimes support lifesaving research, community services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.

The portrait session and gallery canvas print by Neil Bartow Photography are sponsored by Memorial Psychiatric Services in honor of the importance of family to health and wellbeing.

Autumn Beauty Continued…

Posted in Family Portrait Session on November 7, 2007 by neilbartowphotography

I went back out to St. Joseph’s Mission, this time with Paula and Orlin Knutson.  They wanted a portrait to commemorate their 25th Anniversary.  They are great couple to work with.  I originally met them when photographing their daughter’s wedding two years ago.  Can it be two years already?

Anyway, we had a lot of fun. It was a beautiful day and they really are a handsome couple. One thing I like about this job is getting to meet and work with such nice people.
