Wildlife in Florida
JoAnn and I recently spent a week in Florida visiting my nephew and his wife. They graciously gave us a tour of the area and we saw quite a bit of wildlife.
Below is Blue Springs. To me, this is quintessential “old” Florida with clear water and Spanish moss draping from the trees.
Blue Springs is a naturally warm Spring that is always 72 degrees, perfect for the Manatees grouped under this tree.
Ibis also enjoy the Spring.
In other areas, white Egrets stood out in the marshy areas.
We were lucky enough to catch the last day of “Bike Week” in Daytona. Harley enthusiasts packed the downtown area.
Even the kids had a good time.
Well, that’s only a few of the many pictures that we have to remember Florida by. Thanks Ken and Kathy for a wonderful time! – Neil.
